The impossible whopper was a game changer. A mainstream fast food chain offering plant based options. Just a little modification by removing the mayo and you have a vegan fast food burger! Ten years ago I never would have guessed that it was even a possibility.
Plant based foods are becoming more accepted and less of an "extreme" choice. Each time a big chain includes a plant based option on their menu it helps raise awareness for the environment, our health, and of course the innocent animals that suffered and died for a sandwich.
The rest of their menu is still meat but it's a big step closer to the meat free goal.
